To show what this GIS can be used for, we performed a series of analysies that showed how this management and planning tool could be used.
We asked C.K. Eidem what kind of analysis would be useful to the camp, and he recommended a study of possible drainfield and building sites. We did each of these, and also looked at the outhouses to see which needed relocation due to the restrictions of the Forest Stewardship Plan. Here are examples of the 3 analysies we performed. We hope that the Camp will use the GIS in this fashion for planning & management. |
