I had a nagging suspicion that our home wasn’t in an orange circle despite it being the second closest to date. A quick glance at ArcMap showed that we were not in an orange slice of ideal, but damn close. Now I just have to figure out what shaved off the rest of the circle.
Oh, we’re the red dot towards the bottom right. Its on what would be the outer periphery of the circle had something not removed it.

Ok, we’re the house near the bottom right. The blue circles are restaurants, the blue area is the resulting “desirable” area from my project. I checked to see what was missing, and it appears that we’re over 1/4 mile from a park. Not by much, but that was the omission. We’re not in a “avoid” area, which is good.
So when do you move in?
The red dot looks like it is on the bottom left on my screen (course I am technically color blind and might just be seeing things).
Yeah, that’s my mistake Matt. I was using Remote Desktop to create the map and thought it was a white background instead of a green one. I’m not sure why I chose to use a red dot. That was just plain stupid.
I don’t think I understand that map or whether it’s a good thing that your house is the red dot. Either way, congrats on buying a house! Despit the warped-ness of the pictures, it looks like a nice place. Hmmm… I guess you’ll be able to take your brewing to the next level? I wonder if Scott ever plans on using that mash tun I sold him?

Its in the works, rich. I plan on it its just with the new house and everything its hard to get time to start all-grain brewing. Someday though!
