Procedure Library for Accessing Attribute Table Information
The purpose of this procedure library is to learn how to access Attribute Table information. This is useful for changing any table data in case of a change in that data. For instance, if Census data is collected, and reflects a change in one theme's attributes, you can edit them.

Required: ArcView GIS,
Definitions: Attributes are the properties of a feature. They can be spatial, or aspatial.
Procedure:
1. ArcView should be open already. If not, do so. See the procedure for it in Proclib 1.
2. If you have the view window open, you will see some themes in the contents window.
3. Click on the Theme whose attributes you wish to access.
4. Click the Open Theme Table button beneath the Theme menu.
5. A spreadsheet format window will open, and the Attribute info will be displayed. Depending on the theme, there will be either very little, or lots of data.
6. The data can be edited in the same way that any other spreadsheet is edited. Just remember to save your changes when you are done.
