Procedure Library for changing map types

The purpose of this procedure library is to explain how to change the map type in a theme

Required: ArcView GIS,

Procedure:

1. Open ArcView and open project ex9a from the Getting To know ArcView folder.

2. Open the Legend Editor for the Counties Theme by double clicking it in the View window.

3. To change the type of map, select the type you want from the Legend Type option. The Pull down tab includes Dot, Graduated Color, Chart, Unique Value and Single Symbol.

4. Once you have selected your choice, click OK.
